Today my daughter came to me,
To ask if I was scared of dying.
I answered her hesitantly,
“The thought was once quite terrifying,
No one can really guarantee
An afterlife, it’s mystifying.
But one day I suppose we’ll see
Until then, smile, no more crying.”
After all, I’m certain that she
Will one day be an angel flying.
I only hope to be set free
From the sins that I’ve been denying.
My wish for now is just that we
Can be happy… I must keep trying

It’s a Periodic. Table.
Oh. My. God.
Can I have this
I know you don’t mean to be mean to me
‘Cause when you want to you can make me feel like we belong
Lately you make me feel all I am is a back-up plan
I say I’m done and then you smile at me and I forget
Everything I said
I buy into those eyes
And into your lies
